And some stuff for marketing people.

other people were asking for design stuff, and were in a mix of nationalities.

not the best of weeks for sales, but not a disaster either.

anyway, as i was heading towards the campus, i found my hair gone - on one side.

it's not a pretty look, but i can manage, even if i have to scrunch it up to go on stage.

i did buy some gel to style it tomorrow, when i will be running for 10K at an international basketball tournament.

the rain pelted down and i got wet, so it was pretty damn good.

not that i didn't get drenched before, it's just that i've gotten used to it, and am less cool when i take my windbreaker off.

that's what i used on today's run - it's kinda lightweight.

anyway, i was greeted with my hair all bunched up, so i had to take it out of my windbreaker, and then scrunched it up.

Sweaty Endeavor.

But it works, and was a much nicer look.

this morning, i got up early.

it's not for anything, just early.

i got up at 5: 30 to make it to the seminar on communication, which was quite interesting, despite the lack of breakfast.

we're all convinced that this is the best conference so far, and some people are already in Orlando (this whole conference is sponsored by University of Chicago) for the other meeting.

On the Drive Back

i saw some deer just on the side of the road, and it was a sign that i should start carrying the camera.

i had to find my wallet and driver's license, and it was kind of foggy outside, so i turned the lights on and backed into the driveway, in order to take a pic. it's not the greatest, but here it is - there's the reindeer, and a deer that i just about ran over.

it's not a very interesting photo, but hey, it's not Christmas yet, and there were deer in the road.

i do hope i'm not forgetting what day it is.

i don't want to have to rush around the house in my pjs, going from room to room to find things to wrap.

that would be depressing.

yet another busy weekend! yesterday, i had to be up early to drop my kid off at a school activity.

it was cold, and foggy, but i was trying to make sure we didn't miss the school bus.

after that, i went out for my run.

it was 35 degrees out, and i was about 5 minutes late, but i made it.

i felt good, but it was short.

i need to remember that i'm not in good enough shape yet to do my long runs in less than 90 minutes.

they were about an hour.

i think if i ever get back to the 3: 15 pace, which i ran at last year's half marathon, then i'll be able to do a half marathon in 2: 20. after my run, i went to kiddie hell to pick up my son, so he could have a sleepover.

it was cold - i mean real cold, and it was quite windy.
